Sure, future -staulk wizardry/returning his investment/he was butchering my demos...pulling the vocals back and rolling off the squeeky tracks...hounding Mike Hamilton the engineer at the Kitchen Sync on Sunset Blvd...But who knew? He was ahead of his time!
( Kim's vocal grinds and growls pasted over my delicate melodies and lyrics. Removing my too tender, naive amateur Beatle yearnings. Word for word...note for note, stone breaking them apart. Overdubbing, masking and then finally Erasing it all.) Collectors dust. In one afternoon...all effort was gone in a burp...ah, the futility!

Kim was on the phone with his lawyer Walter. Something was going on. The demo studio cigarrette boy offered me a little white line. "What's with this?" I knew but played the game. Kim was frantic. Sounded like he was about to junk the Tommy Rock/Gary Pickus project.. (we were so tired and spent as well) Kim layed out a lot of money, people were excited about the songs we were writing (Steve Miller for one, kept Kim excited), but...Nothing was happening MAN!
